The Royal Scofield Society exists to reward those who value Masonic education and work to put that education into action; providing avenues, resources, and support to expand Masonic education, and inspire lifelong learning.
The RSS would have three levels delivered as part of the Ohio Masonic Academy. The Ohio Masonic Academy’s purpose is to establish a continuing education delivery platform to supplement the education and candidate integration efforts within the Lodges.
The RSS will have a Board of Regents to aid in the administration and development of the Society. The Regents or their designates will review the submissions for each level, and may allow substitutions or considerations for previous achievements on a case-by-case basis in keeping with the spirit of the requirements.
There are currently over 800 Master Masons who have started their journey with the Royal Scofield Society and of those 800+ only 56 have been fully inducted into the society. The Second Masonic District has a strong presence within the Royal Scofield Society and currently leads the state with 11 inducted members!
